Simple Teams Calling via PBX
PBX (Private Branch eXchange - PBX extensions are Included in the above call plan pricing),
more commonly referred to as Cloud VoIP phone systems, has a Teams embedded app, which lets you dial through its path. This does not require any further license fees and works with even your current O365-included Teams App. Far simpler to install as the Voice supplier will configure that part for free under the Call Plan MSA Tech support.
No complex Teams config or I.T work required, we can configure this in minutes for any end-user.
This is the most cost-effective and easiest way to dial anywhere from your MS Teams Application.

Standard Teams Calling via SBC
SBC, the Session Border Controller included in the call plan pricing, still requires the additional $15 AUD per user for the Teams Phone license when using Teams direct routing. With the right domain setup and dial plans, you can then place outbound calls directly from Teams. You can choose a calling plan from the Microsoft Teams bundles or from any carrier that offers a Teams-compatible SBC, although this setup typically needs I.T assistance due to its complexity.
This approach can also become costly if you need IVR greetings with menu options, call queues, or other inbound call flows similar to what your office phones currently provide. The added licensing can exceed $69 AUD per user with our MSA and global plan bundle, or you will need to engage an experienced Teams I.T specialist, sometimes more than one if you require redundancy, to reduce external carrier management fees.
